Looking to Get Out of the House with My Daughter

I have a one year old daughter and my New Years resolution is to get out of the house more often. We already do a Music Together class once a week, so I am looking for fun activities that are inexpensive and obviously indoors(since it is presently freezing outside!). Does anyone have any suggestions as to things we can do? Thanks for any help!

What can I do next?

Some of my friends started play groups with the children and their parents that were in their Little Gym class. Each week one of the parents would host the play date and three or more moms would come over and the children would play with the moms and the other children but it also gave time for the moms to socialize. I attended some of the play groups and it seemed to work. I am hoping to maybe try this when my daughter gets to be a little older.

Are you a good swimmer/comfortable with water?? Indoor pools are super warm and fun, and usually have classes for mommies and babies. That could be a really fun bonding experience for the both of you - Interactive, big learning experience for her, plus you'll prob meet other moms in the process. This is what my sister in law is going to do with my nephew. Saturday mornings at the Y in Brooklyn. Check that out!!!
