My daughter is turning 11 - Wondering if any of you know of any new sites that girls from the age of 10 -14 are loving .
To me it is so important that they [girls] work on their self esteem . Postive role models

New Moon Girls, kiki, Discovery Girls, American Girl Almost all of these have both a web site & a magazine. My girls love them. I have 3 girls, so I ended up just getting them all as presents. My 10, almost 11 year old especially enjoys New Moon Girls. kiki is maybe for older girls, but it has a fashion focus. The other 2 are general for tween-early teens.
My daughter is almost 11. She loves everythinggirl.com and American Girl.
Check out the Girls Scouts... http://www.girlscoutsla.org/. They have good stuff on their website, but also, if your daughter joins, one of the best things about scouts is it builds self esteem along with friendship. I'm a scout leader in Torrance for brownies (third grade girls) and it is wonderful to see them learning from each other and working together. Good luck!

American Girl!! They have a website, magazine subscritptions and books!! Dolls too! I get the magazine for my 10 year old!

American Girl - my daughter LOVES them. Every movie we've watched, book we've read and magazine by them we've read, have all been positive influences. I highly reccommend it.
