Looking for Friends in Murfreesboro, Tn Area

I read your request & wanted to respond. I have moved around a lot & know that sometimes it can be lonely. Murfreesboro is what I consider home. It is such a great town, great for kids. Me and my girlfriends get together a lot for dinner usually (we especially love Chili's for their molten lava chocolate cake, yum!). I enjoy reading & shopping (when I have any money). I love my church-New Vision Baptist Church, it is great. I am getting ready to go thru a divorce-been married for 8 years & we have 3 kids. I have a 6 yr old son, a 2.5 yr old son & a 9.5 month old daughter. They are great kids. I am looking for a job b/c I have been a stay at home mom...the job I am interviewing for currently is in Brentwood. What restaurant do you work for?

Hey H.! I moved to Murfreesboro almost a year ago and before I got here I actually joined an online moms group. It was a wonderful group of ladies with a wealth of knowledge. We have SAHM, WAHM, full time working moms, part time working moms, single and married moms. Our moms range in age from about 22-mid thirties and kids are all ages. We get together for playdates, moms nights, activities in the community, and other stuff. Mostly we get to know each other on-line but become better friends by getting together for these other activities. You should check it out and see what you think. I know how you feel. My husband and I just moved to Murfreesboro three years ago too. It has been very hard for me to make friends because I am a stay at home mom but I do go to MTSU in the morning.
