My husband and I just recently bought a home, and apparently the sellers hid what terrible shape the carpets were in with furniture. We need to replace everything, the previous owners had dogs who apparently had potty issues and I refuse to let my son be on them in the shape they are in. Unfortunately being that we just bought a house we dont have much money to play around with. Does anyone know of any discount or clearance carpet centers around Rowlett? greater dallas area really, if its cheep enough distance isnt an issue.
Also does anyone know of any good clearance furniture centers? or furniture stores that sell well made furniture for cheep? we have never had room for a dineing room table and now that we do I would love to have one. even thrift stores are ok, I can always resurface it.
You mentioned needing furniture and I recommend CORT furniture rental CLEARANCE CENTER off Inwood in Dallas. It is previously rented furniture that they can no re-rent so they clearance it out. I have found some great peices there. SUPER CHEAP!!!!!

I have also had a lot of trouble finding consignment stores in Dallas! Have thought of opening one myself. I did see a small one in Grapevine on the main street right north of the old town center.

I've got a table I'm trying to sell. We're downsizing to something smaller because we don't have the space. It's only got 6 chairs, so I don't know if you were looking for an 8 seater or not. It's rectangular shaped, hand-crafted, custom built by someone here in town (solid pine or something like it). It's got a rustic feel and a glass top over the wood. If you're interested I could send you a pic. If you can pick it up, we'd let it and all 6 chairs go for $250.

CC Carpet has decent carpet at really good prices. They have several locations around the Metroplex, so you may want to look into it.
Also, what type of dining room table are you looking for? We may be interested in selling ours, which is contemporary (black marble laminate with four black chairs with white fabric seats). Let me know if interested.
