Has anyone seen any deals on photo christmas cards? I am finally getting around to doing this and want to find the best deal around possible - as cheap as I can get as I need to save my money for other things; as my hubby not sure if he will have a job in the near future (end of December)

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

thank you to all that have responded! I have looked at winkflash, but not sure how soon I could get th epictures, but I also looked at Sams Club and have decided to go through them - they are cheaper plus they will be ready in one hour - even though I won't be able to pick them up til tomorrow!

I'm also glad I waited a little bit longer as I got a great Christmas picture with my kids just last week and if I would have gone sooner, I would have used a picture that was just "ok" and not the spectacular (my biased opinion) one that I am now going to use!

Hi L.,

Try CostCo. You can do them online and pick them up at the store. I compared several places including WalMart and Sam's CLub and Costco was still the cheapest. My cards were ready in three days. I needed 150 of them and only paid about $43 tax and all for a 5 x 7 inch card size.

Walmart is about $.44 a card and you can get them printed in about 15-30 minutes. Archievers is also about the same price and are printed right away.

Take your own photos at home with the digital camera. I suggest all wearing matching casual clothes and going outside in front of a pretty tree or your home and setting the timer or getting a neighbor to help. If its just of the kids pin a blanket to a wall as a backdrop, dress them in the matching attire and snap away.

Then go to www.winkflash.com download and order. there are additional coupon codes that can be found to save you more $. Just google winkflash + coupon code.

my pics were pretty quality but it took 4 days to get them so hurry!

Jewel Osco had an awesome deal...40 cards for 6.99!!! They are only 4 X6, but they come with the envelopes and lots of styles to choose from....and I had them within a half hour!!! I think, though, the coupon is only good until today....or it may have been yesterday...but check it out just in case!

I use Walmart every year for our photo holiday cards.Very cheap compared to other online photo places. You can upload your picture at Walmarts online photo service and pick them up in 1 hour! It's the best deal I've found besides Costco (or so I hear if you are a member). Good Luck!

I searched and found of Walmart.com, Shutterfly and Snapfish that Walmart is the least expensive. You can upload from home and have them printed and sent to the store or printed in an hour at the store . You pay no shipping.

You could check out Vista Print. They are inexpensive and the photo cards come in more of a card stock vs photo paper

I did snapfish for ours I went with the middle quality so I could add a letter on the back so they were more expensive and I paid $50 for 80 photo cards plus shipping. I think their basic ones run about 20c. a piece and they are running holiday specials if you order by the 17th.

Sam's Club has a good deal...30 cards for $10.50, 50 for $14.50, 100 for $25...we always use them. The cards turn out great and you can make them onm-line and just go pick them up. You need to sign up with your e-mail, but I don't know if membership with Sam's club is neccessary.

We use vistaprint.com. Their Christmas cards are 50% off right now. There are so many choices. I even used them for my baby announcements.

Walmart. You can upload yourself, choose your card, and can pick them up at your nearest store to save on shipping. I've been using their photo department for years and it's awesome. Even their photo gifts are great. Inexpensive too.

Have a wonderful holiday.

I got mine at Costco. They were 50 for $14.99 and each additional set of 25 were $4.99. I did it online and picked them up the very next day. They did a beautiful job.

Ditto Sam's club and they have a 1 hour time frame. Win-win. Also, Osco is running a special, however, there are many more designs to choose from at Sam's club and you can choose a couple designs that allow for 2 or 3 pictures to be inserted. Good luck.

I got mine through Walmart.com, only 33 cents each. I had shopped around a bit, and found them to be the best for not too many cards (you can order ANY amount at all for that price).

Walgreens had a good deal, I think 9.99 for 20 or something like that. You can even go online and download to order them. I go through Shutterfly also. There is a better selection now.
