I have a photo of my kids when they were little and liked each other, this is my favorite photo and would love to have it sketched, does anyone know of an artist that does this type of stuff and how much they charge. I have a photo of my husband that has been drawn and I love it and would love to see this photo drawn.

I don't know of anyone personally, but I do have a very off the wall idea for you. If you have a digital copy of the photo you can render a sketch drawing from it in photoshop (the expensive version). It won't be a nice charcoal or pencil sketch, but it would be free. Just a thought.

My fiance and I are artists, we dont do it for a living or anything, but we would deffinetely be interested in sketching the photo for you though... we both have sketched photos of our daughter and Eric has sketched photos of his family before... If you would like to meet up and see some of our drawings let me know. If you are interested we wouldnt charge you that much... but I would need to ask around and see what is "appropriate..." Eric also draws tattoos for people, but he doesnt really charge his friends, you know... I think we would give you a good deal.
The only set back though, is that we are getting married on the 19th and our honeymoon is Memorial Day weekend, so we would not be able to start the project until after that if that is ok.

You will have to talk to him about pricing, but I do know he is a "starving artist" so you can probably work down the price a little. (don't tell him I said that!! I don't know if you have already done this, but if you haven't - contact the high school or college in your town. Talk to the art teach & see if he/she knows of a student that would do it. I know several students in my hometown that do it cheap & do excellent work.
I don't know how much it would cost but I know an artist who does this sort of thing. I know it isn't cheap but I think it depends on what size you are looking for as to the exact price.
