Hi Ladies!
I'm in dire need of getting my curly hair trimmed this week. My normal gal is too far away and with this baby due next week, I'd like to get it done before he gets here. I've tried a few local places over the past few years, but they've been charging $50 for a trim!! Good grief, that's just too much money. I had a bad experience at a Super Cuts (I looked like a poodle!), so I'm hesitant to randomly pick a place. I would love to find someone local who is good at cutting curly hair and doesn't charge an arm & a leg.
Any help and suggestions would be quite welcome! Thank you. :-)
Thank you ladies for all of your suggestions! I ended up calling Armineh with Yummy Hair because it turns out she's about a mile from my house. So cool! She was able to get me in this evening and did a FABULOUS job!! Thank you so much, Nina, for suggesting her. She is one of the nicest people and does really excellent work. I can't tell you how relieved I am to have found a good stylist close by.

Hi-my hair dresser is on the edge of Burbank & North Hollywood. Her place is called Yummy Hair and her name is Armineh. I've been going to her for 10 years now and I live by LAX.
