Does anyone have this toy for their child. We recently purchased one and I am in the process of having it hooked up to my computer. Does your child like it?

What can I do next?

Oh my!!! We LOVE Scout!!! We change the favorite animal, color and food occassionally...even the songs. My 15 mo. old will dance and hug him. I also like the bedtime music....you can set it for 2 min, 5 min, or 10 min. Great for bedtime. A great toy, at a great price...you'll love him!

Yes! We bought Scout for my son when he was 18 months old for Christmas. He's 3 years old now and won't sleep without him! It plays lullaby music that goes for 10 minutes and he uses that to fall asleep. We have the girl one (Violet) for our 10 month old daughter and she loves hers too. They say the kids names in talking and in some of the songs. You program your childs name and you can put their favorite color/food/animal and pick what songs you want it to sing. You can always change the songs when your little one gets bored with it.

We have Violet (the purple one). My daughter got it for her first birthday. At first it was ignored. I think the buttons were a bit hard for her hands to push. I almost got rid of it. Then at 19 months she rediscovered her, and loves that dog. I am so glad I didn't give it away. My daughter sleeps with Violet almost every night. I really like that I can change the music and some of what it says, so I don't get tired of it either. :)

My daughter loves her Violet. I've been buying them for presents since she got hers when she was 1. She is now 2 1/2 and still plays with it daily. It goes to bed with her, we take it on trips with us, and she wants to take it every time we leave the house.

My DD is 15 months. We got her the Violet (girl version) for her for Christmas, and she liked to carry it around. It is only in the last couple of months that she has figured out how to work the buttons, and now she has worn through 3 sets of batteries on the thing! lol.

My youngest got it for Christmas last year. It is cute and both really like that it says my youngest's name! "Hello Luke! Wanna play?" We love it at our house! Sometimes, I'll hook Scout up to the pc in the evenings and change things around. The boys love when he says something different, it really surprises them!

I got Violet for my daughter and she did not like it--until I got it loaded up. I need to update it because she is bored with it again. The same with the Little laptop that leapster has out. I keep telling myself to get busy with the updates but time gets away so quickly.
