Have any of you delivered at Las Colinas? I really love my OB, but she's moving to a new hospital the month before I'm due... Their website is a little light on information. So, anyone?

What can I do next?

I delivered there in July and it was pretty good. The nurses are awesome, and the after delivery rooms are pretty nice. My doctor who delivered was great. My sister and husband were in the delivery room with me and my doctor is so sweet that my sister changed her ob to my doc lol... If you look up the hospital, they are very rocommended because they are known for being equiped with some of the best equipment for deliveries and high risk. That's probably why they have so many c sections there... Good luck!

I delivered my son there last April and it was nice I guess, I mean how nice can a hospital be. The nurses were very attentive and caring, the room was nice although the labor room was much nicer than the post delivery rooms, and the food was not to bad. I would suggest bringing a portable dvd player (as there is not one in the post delivery rooms)or some form of entertainment. The only issue I had with them was that while you can get up and walk around the halls you cannot walk with your baby outside of your room unless they are in the bed. Overall it was a good experience.

I have one friend who delivered there and thought it was alright. I understand they have the highest c-section rate in the area though. If you love your OB, then I'm sure you will be fine. It's a small hospital.

I delivered both my kiddos there -- one in 2005 and one last June. Anything in particular you want to know?

Hi P.!

I actually had my son at Las Colinas Medical Center on MacArthur Blvd. He is now 4 years old. It was nice when we were there, but at that time they were working on the nursery, so my son actually stayed in the room with me the whole time.

The nurses were real nice, the only reason I didn't have my twins there was because we live in Richardson now.
