Mike helped with me with a little girl who believes she can send messages when asked to stop! Ignoring wasn't enough.

Yes, we like Mike! Just wanted to contribute my voice to the chorus of appreciation. And I really appreciate W. W.'s thoughtfulness in making the public statement.

Wow! How nice thank you very much! I really do appreciate the kind words. Just like anyone else it's always nice to hear that one's efforts are making a positive difference.

Let me take this opportunity to just say that I am here to serve this community and it's many great members. My goal is to make sure that all of your questions, concerns, and suggestions are being heard and addressed.

Also, please know that I, along with everyone else here, will continue to work hard everyday behind the scenes to make sure that Mamapedia continues to be the same great, healthy and happy community you’ve come to love and expect over the years. At the same time we will also continue to strive to make any and all improvements we can to ensure that you are always getting the best possible experience here at Mamapedia.

So, please feel free to drop me a note anytime via private message, with any ideas, suggestions, concerns or questions that you might have -I’d love to hear from you! And otherwise, always feel free to use the report option on anything that concerns you secure in the knowledge that I will take any such reports seriously and take all appropriate action promptly.

I agree! In addition, Mike writes responsible and responsive private messages to members to address specific concerns in private. He is quick to express his appreciation of members who respond kindly (even to the questionable first posts by some new members), and he has responded firmly to those few who exhibit truly excessive rudeness or hate speech. I know it's impossible to eliminate the spammers but they do disappear quickly as soon as a couple of us report them. I like how promptly he responds to those who put purely medical questions up here without dismissing them entirely. He exhibits the kind of respect we should all emulate.

I am grateful for the fantastic job Mike is doing! He takes concerns seriously, even if he deems they should stay up in the end, and continues to keep an eye on things in case they prove to be an issue. Things are dealt with quickly. The issues of the past that made this page unreadable have improved substantially. It's a pleasure having you here Mike!

Yes I agree. He is very responsive and pays attention to us. It's been so long since I've seen one that I forgot about the mother's brother's plumber's aunt's cat's cousin making $45,343.90 per hour posts! It helps to see the trolls booted quickly. Also I finally got help after years of not being able to get the digest to getting it again. Thanks Mike!

Yay Mike!

Last week when a mom posted a question and stated that she was going to harm herself or her children, it was nice to have *person* to go to with concerns regarding her and her children's safety.

Also when a "questionable" question comes up, it is nice to have a *person* to screen it so that the person truly understands how this site works and so that the reponders feel it's worth the time to answer (speaking for myself of course) and that we are not just part of some research paper.
