Hi moms, this isn't even a traditional request, more like a general question for moms of grown children or teenagers. Do you sometimes feel like you are in your own personal "h*ll" with your kids?? YOu know something they had done, are considering doing that you just can't talk to anyone about. This is more like a poll.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Well God is the best of planners....the wedding is off. Just as quickly as I posted this things changed. So keep us in your prayers.

Thanks to everyone for their comments. hugs to you all.

I sometimes feel like I try to tell them about saving money and they just respond by saying it's my money, I want to live in the now. I want to enjoy it now.I am thinking what about tomorrow. SO far with all honesty my 20 and 19 year old are great kids. I haven't had any problems with them thank the good Lord. THey so far are pretty open with me so as far as I know there is nothing that I don't know or that they are hiding. I wish I could be of more help but if you need to chat I am here/we're here.

Hi, I thought I responded to this the other day. the answer is Yes!! My son is 22 and still drives me crazy, he doesn't seem to grow up. Spends to much money, doesn't go to school without prompting. I pray every day and take alot of deep breaths.

Hi A.-
My son is now 20 and is as wonderful as he was the day he was born. Yes he has done strange and crazy things over the years. Yes he still does strange and crazy things now. In fact right now he is going through this thing of trying to find the car he wants, by buying and selling them. He is constantly buying, selling and trading cell phones. It used to upset and frustrate me, that he spent so much time and money learning about and buying cell phones, until he was hired buy verizon wireless making over $30,000.00/yr at age 19. He didn't get to attend the college he wanted to attend because he let his grades slip but he is doing well for himself now. I have chosen to accept my son just as he is and choose to not be ashamed of him or any decisions he may make as he grows, learns and negotiates his way through his life as we all have to do. You are making your personal hell by trying to make your children perfect and choosing to be ashamed when they fall short of perection that, they cannot attain. Do them and yourself a favor find someone to talk with and set everyone free.

Hope this helps
