I know.... It's a guilty pleasure, However, it's a major bonding time I have weekly with my 18 yr old daughter. We've watched for years and its been our thing.
So what about this season with Sean? We are torn? Daughter thinks Lindsey but I'm still torn. Now Catherine is showing her vulnerable side. I can see both Catherine or Lindsey.
I know this is cheesy for many for whatever... It is a communication link I enjoy with my daughter.

I know it is cheesey and many people don't like it. If I had a son, I would probably be bonding on XMen as well!! I did DVR Dallas and will watch it later. We live about 10 minutes from Southfork so I like seeing all the local things and occasionally the actors around here!
No judgement implied because I have several reality type shows that I love, but I really feel this show makes a mockery of love and marriage. I wouldn't want my kids watching it and thinking that this is they way to choose a mate. Apparently I am in the minority in this opinion, though.
My husband and I watch it. We usually pick two girls each on the first night and see how far they get. This year, I picked Catherine! Woohoo! He picked Des. Hope Des is the bachlorette next!

Never watch it... after the first show many years of watching that blonde woman beat out all these other women to MARRY this guy who was supposed to be a millionaire, the story unfolded of him falling asleep on the airplane, her sitting beside him crying because of the mistake she had made in marrying him, having a miserable honeymoon, and then coming back home to find that he had a toilet as a planter in his yard. He had NOT been properly vetted, he had a restraining order against him, and he did not have a million dollars either. She was a nurse in an ER and couldn't keep her job because she was a "celebrity" and her being in the ER caused a ruckus. She later posed nude for one of the skin magazines because she needed money to live off of. I never wanted to watch one of these kinds of shows after that...
My sons would rather bond with me watching the X-Men. I gotta say I'd choose the X-Men over the Bachelor anytime...

I didn't watch this season but my husband did and he was glued to last night's episode! He said it ended really well.
I was busy watching loftier shows - Real Housewives Beverly Hills and then the memorial episode of Dallas (Larry Hagman died).

If you new it was going to last I wanted ashlee. but since the odds are that it wont at the end of the day I dont care. But I still love watching.
