JFF Grape Wars --Part Twelve?

So what are we fighting about today? I think grapes have run the gamut. I was at the store last night and saw big bunches of beautiful green and red grapes and I thought of you all. I started laughing and my children thought I was crazy and wanted in on the joke. So, what pettiness are we going to run into the ground? What dead horse are we beating? <--Ew! What a gross idiom. :o) Anybody have any suggestions? I mean this all in good fun. I'm feeling sillier than usual. It's "Friyay"! :o)

What can I do next?

Lol! I was also at the grocery store yesterday, and just my luck, the bread became squished after my children so thoughtfully threw heavy things on top of it. When my husband noticed it while we were checking out, he handed me the flattened bread and told me to go swap it for a new loaf. I handed it right back to him, and said "Nope, that would be stealing!" He looked at me like I was crazy, but we bought the bread.

You break it, you buy it?

I tried Bug's veggie/fruit wash of 1 part vinegar/10 parts water on a pint of strawberries this morning.

Water was definitely gross! Thanks Bug!!!

Now...dead horses....we could start giving shout outs to some of the more interesting question-askers. Maybe they can stir the pot for a Friday? :)

I have one!

When I was reading about the alcohol issue the other day, I was wondering why parents tend to hit the gas when talking to their children about sex, but kind of, "meh", or rather indifferent, when it came to drugs and alcohol. I was going to start a post about it, but I was actually trying to do some work.

Maybe later.

I was just thinking we flogged the alcohol issue earlier in the week. It was only fitting fresh grapes were next on the chopping block. At this point I'm praying we don't have endless arguments and spin off questions about raisins and prunes. *Fingers crossed* Come one. Somone has to have something that doesn't pertain to fruit in any form.

I have opened packages and allowed my kids to eat from them during large grocery shopping trips, but we always pay for it at the end. If a box of crackers is open and half eaten the cashier can still scan it and put it on your bill. If you give a kid a banana, I suppose the cashier could weigh another similar sized banana, so you are not stealing it.
