I just got a new computer and i"m transfering all of my ipod touch stuff and when I go to sync it, it says my apps doesn't transfer to my new computer. How am I able to sync my ipod and computer with out losing my apps?? Most of them I got for free, but some I did pay for and would like to keep them.

What can I do next?

I copied the itunes folder on to a thumb drive from my old computer and then added it on to my new computer. When I did this it warned me that I was adding the items on to a second computer and that I could put my itunes items on as many as five computers. Everything transfered no problem. I found out how to do this from the itunes help.

I would think the apps should be saved in your Itunes account. I know my boys have an Ipod touch and we share an account betweent he two, when one buys an app the next time the other ipod is hooked up to Itunes it downloads it automatically. I know when we got a new computer, we did not loss any music or apps. I would call Support just to be sure.

Do you have music too? Music and photos you can use the ipod to computer transfer on download.cnet then add it on itunes... apps you can't but the free ones you just download again and the ones you paid for will be on your itunes account you will just have to pull them up again... I believe a dialogue box will come up that says you have purchased apps that aren't in your library would you like to import them or something like that. It does it with purchased music anyways. Even though they erase it it's still paid for on the actual itunes account.
