It could be a yeast infection, but it could also just be extra dryness. You've got alot of hormones bouncing around and just as that can cause an inbalance and make bacteria work overtime and give you a yeast infection, you could just as well be super dry and just need a lubricant and extra water in your diet. Especially with the weather we've been having lately, the body skin is dry, can you imagine the vaginal area? Check with your Dr. and take care of it, this is certainly not something you want to leave unsolved. Good Luck.

I would ask your OB, but it sounds like a yeast infection. I had them with my first pregnancy constantly. Everytime I got rid of one it seemed to come back. I used to joke with my husband that we should buy stock in Monistat. With my second and third pregnancies I didn't have the problem at all. I just teated them over the counter, however that was 8 years ago and now that everything is "new & improved" and stronger I would deffinately check with your OB. Good Luck!

Hey C., I had exactly the same problem when i was pregant. It could be the Vaginal Yeast Infection, talk to your OBGYN and have him or her to check you out then he or she will tell you the right treatment for you. I used the Monistat Vaginal Cream and it worked for me. It stopped the itchy right way

You should really check to be sure that you don't have a yeast infection...it could hurt the baby if you have one and it's left untreated. I know they make home test kits now...it might be worth testing yourself, and if your do have a yeast infection, talk to your doctor/midwife.
