How Long on This Site?

Over five years...and two screen names;p

This site and I have a love hate relationship.

I love all you Ladies. But hate the fighting that can come with some of the topics.

Would be no where in life though without you guys....You're the butter on my bread:)

Ive been here since...early 2009. Had to think about it for a while.
Though for a long time I only used this site through the emails I got daily.

Since 2006 when it was Mamasource. I miss that. There seemed to be a lot less drama!

5 years! About 10 of us local moms even had a mamasource chuck e cheese outing back then.

Well, I changed my name from Jennifer.....because I am not just another Jennifer...JK...to Mum4Ever...

Was here when it was called MamaSource - that was probably 2004-ish.

So - 7-8 years? But I did take a couple of years off while I recovered from an accident. And now I only come to see what my 'friends' are up to, hoping they are still here chatting away. And, I don't answer 2 year old questions anymore, as there has got to be over a million toddler Q&A's to review

A little over 4 years, but under a different screen name until about 9 mos ago.

I've been here about 4 years. Lots of people that I personally communicate with aren't on this site anymore. Some people have changed their names.
I think that many people might have left when it changed to mamapedia.
That's just a guess.
It was mamasource when I started.

I had a broken leg at the time and keep thinking I need to change my profile.

My leg is better but I've broken other things since then.

I knew it was a long time ago, but I wasn't sure. So... I just went to my profile page and kept clicking back on my answers to find out.

The first question I answered was back in July 2006. I waited a few months before going back to it. By early 2007, I was back and have answered many questions and have asked some questions, as well. It was kind of wierd to get used to the changes when it switched from Mamasource to Mamapedia, but now I can't even remember how it used to be different. lol

I've been on what used to be mamasource, then turned mamapedia since 2008. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it, but it's been a huge help as a mom either way!

I asked my first question if 10-2008 but I was a lurker before that. When it was mamasource and more of a local type site.

The Mamasource days. Can't tell you how "long" for sure because no way am I scrolling to the end of 36,000+ flower messages but I asked my first question in 08.

Sheryl--please re-read...this is flowers AND messages. I would assume over half are flowers.

I had to check, I asked my first question in January 2007. Didn't realize its been that long either....

I have changed my profile name a few times since then though. :)

Over 6 years, moms change names from time to time.

I looked it up.. mamasource.com started in 2005.

Ive been here since the end of 08 according to my oldest flower. So 3 years.

Years, I don't know how many. I was here when it was MamaSource. I did like the MamaSource format but I got used to the change of Mamapedia format.

Wow, I'm still a newbie compared to so many of these ladies! I've been on here for 9 months. I've gone back to some ancient questions as well, but I think some people change their names (I have once), and a lot of women come and go. I often wonder when I'll be considered a "regular." :)

I joined in 2008 or early 2009 and the name was different. I have found now that my daughter started school I can actually get on the computer, lol.

I was on for several years on Mamasource before it changed to Mamapedia...so probably 7+ years? Up until several months ago I had my real first name and last initial and real city but heard someone was being stalked by a crazy mama so it freaked me out and I changed it! Didn't think I wanted anyone unexpected walking into my office! :o/

I can't remember but I think I joined in 2007, so 4 years. It was mamasource then.

I've gotten more active in recent months.

About five years. I was here when it was Mommasource and then it changed its name and the format.

Loved the old format. Oh well, so is life.

I just went back to my first ever answer to a question and found June 19, 2007! Dang! I didn't realize it's been that long. I come and go as life gets hectic and slows down. Sometimes I don't have anything to offer to the conversation at hand. Other times I'm quite talkative.

I first joined back when it was mamasource, right when it started. I then cancelled my membership last year, in total disgust for the inability to have any control over posts, who PM's you, etc. I really don't like the new format. I recently rejoined but am thinking of saying "later" again.

I find a lot of the people here catty and truly unhelpful. And again, I don't like the new format and all the advertisements. I also hate how they pull posts all the time. Good posts, helpful posts.

I joined when it was switching from Mamasource and advertised on the Google search engine. One M. site switched to this very complicated "university" with lots of graphics on every page. The other one had no posts anymore as the kids entered school. This one loads fast and has lots of questions, but I HATE all the new ads.

Again the same question????lol....I have been H. since this site was Mamasource, about 4 or 5 years something like that....and it has been very good, funny and interesting!
