Hi,
Congrats on new job !!! My children go to Kids R Kids on Franz RD ( 2 blocks from Grand Parkway.) I also work in the medical center ( Hermann Hospital) and have found that the extended hours they offer work well for shift workers. Also they are open year round. Only closed a few days through the year. Its a HUGE HUGE relief, not having to think of alternative plans during fall, xmas and spring holidays - not to mention all summer long. The staff at KRK are fabulous... We've been going there for 5 years now, and I have nothing but good to say of them. They also offer a before and after school program if you need this too....

My daughter goes to "A Child's Reflection" on Fry just south of Kingsland (you can just about see the Christus St. Catherine medical center). She is in the preschool program, but they are mainly a Day Care. We choose them because they had the best play ground and open, inviting rooms. My daughter loves it!

S.-- we just moved to Katy, and we LOVE my son's preschool, Child's Play Learning Center. It's part of Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church (1530 Norwalk Drive, Katy). The teachers are loving and nurturing, the learning activities are great, and the communication with parents is excellent. The only thing that might be a problem for you is the hours: drop-off is 9:10-9:30 and pick-up is 2:10-2:30. There's no extended day I don't know if you need full-day care?

We love the BRITISH PRIVATE PREP SCHOOL on South Fry Road. The owner and the teachers there are great. They stimulate their brains too. The kids learn a lot there, and they are also given a good meal. You don't need to worry about having to send any food.

My kids, ages 1 and 3 both go to knowledge Beginnings. I have been happy with them. They are locayed on Fry road, between Peek rd and Grand Parkway.
If you mention that I referred you, you and I both get a $200 credit. Atleast check it out, they have a great open door policy. The director is Stacy and the assistant director is Alicia. #-###-###-####.

My son was previously at the sugarcreek Montessori school and I do not recommend that school.

I'm not sure if you have already found a place or not but I would highly recommend Children's Hour Montessori in the medical center. It is near the intersection of Holcomb and Greenbriar. My has been there for a year and a half and we love it. The teachers are very friendly and he has learned a lot since he's been there. He is 3 now and they don't accept children until they are least 18 months old. We'll be moving my daughter there once she becomes old enough.

Ms. Susan is the owner and very friendly. Email me if you want me to get you the contact info.
