Contact Brigance Insurance. They are an independant agency and can set you up with the cheapest insurance with the most coverage depending on your situation (age of house, claim history, etc). They offer TONS of products with TONS of companies - they get you the most bang for your buck - at least they have with my houses and cars. Plus, their agency is WONDERFUL. The agent, Calynn (sp?), is so nice and will tell you what you need to know, even if it is to go with another company (not affiliated with his). Hi A....I can't comment on entouch, but as far as homeowners insurance, we're with Hochheim Prairie based in Yoakum, TX. Visit their ____@____.com to find a local agent near you. We've been with them at least 15 years now and have always been pleased with the service and rates are pretty reasonable. Check them out. Another one would be Texas Farm Bureau. I have never heard of entouch, but I figure it is something to do with tv, phone and/or internet. If you have a monthly payment to make, stop paying. If you have a plan where a payment is directly posted to a debit or credit card, you can report the card lost, get a new one and they will no longer be able to take a payment, unless you give them the new number. Inconvenient for a week or so, till your new card arrives. You say it's included with your POA. Do you pay POA yearly? Monthly? Is entouch a separate charge on your dues? You may have a lot of trouble removing yourself from this! Good luck!

you can find some cheap insurance, but you better be careful. Countrywide has one or did, I guess they still do where if you had a busted pipe in the wall that had to be repaired, they would rip out the wall to repair the pipe but the insurance would not cover repairing the wall. They would only cover the pipe.

I have been in the mortgage insurance for a long time, but I have never heard about an entouch contract. What is it?

Not sure where your at but we use Liberty Mutual. We have two houses and they gave us the lowest price of all insurers. Ask about getting a higher deductible than the standard, this will lower your price too.

Hi, A.. Try googling 'free insurance quotes'. There are plenty of companies who will bid for your business. Tell them what coverages you want/need and they will give you 3-4 quotes. This is how I found mine. You can then go online to the Texas Dept of Insurance (or whatever state you're in) and get ratings for the companies you are considering. Good luck!

A. - Be careful about cheap - it doesn't always give you the best coverage in case of damage.
