Hello,
I need advice on what to do now. I am a mother of a great 2yr old and just found out that i am going to have twins....yes i said twins. I am scard, suprised and excited all at the same time. I work at a local daycare and love my job but there is no way that i can afford to work and have three children in daycare at the same time. It is going to be hard for me to stay home due to my husband dose not make great money. So i am not sure, do i get a nanny so that i can work? do i just learn to cut corners and stay home and have fun? I hope some one can help me?

Well congrats. As for yur working though, you'd be surprised, i bet if you sit down and look you can stay home. i do. and lets just say my fiance makes less than 10 an hour. i do work though, i babysit, for 3 kids only 1 is full time it isn't what i was making working but i have 4 kids of my own and it allows us to pay the bills and have a little left over. but start looking at your finances now. you have months to get this sorted out, and there are so many corners you can cut. get WIC, almost anyone qualifies, look into a secondary insurance through the county if you're already insured to cover all the co pays and such. if you qualify for the insurance you can get a discount on your phone bill. you are going to have to stay home for a little bit anyways and with three kids that young you are looking at almost 8 dollars an hour for them to be in daycare. call around though depending on your area that number could be off, figure out what it would cost per hour for all 3 kids to be in daycare and compare that with what you are making. but there are so many things you can do. eliminate the gym membership when it expires, forgo the manicure and the tanning bed, not that you can tan anyways. use tax time to get out of debt, pay off a car, the credit cards something, you should have your return before the babies come. and i could easily keep going, it's possible, it's interesting but possible, and we have two vehicles, not new but the car was when we got it, we have a morgage, my dd is in dance and my ds in cub scouts and my other ds in baseball, the kids want for nothing and my bills are paid every month, and we are not on welfare, we don't get food stamps, we have and there is nothing wrong with that but i know it bugs some ppl to have to do those things. but the point is that it isn't impossible to stay home and yur kids not only get mommy full time but they don't have to miss out on the other fun stuff either, but that's another sonversation there are so amny things out there that are free or very cheap to do as a family. good luck and if yu need anything let me know.

I think you need to decide what is most imporatant and what you can afford. I stay home and money is very tight. I gave up my cell-phone (which I miss soooo much some days) and I can't call long distance. Our main meat is hamburger, the high greese kind that needs alot of draining. I can't afford day care for two small children on any jobs available, so I can imagine how expensive it would be fore three. However, there are ways to make money at home. With your experience I would think you could babysit, just pick your family's and children carefully. Make sure before you start watching them that the parents can pay and that the child would not be a Horrible influence on your children. My sister makes more money babysitting than she did in the factory, so you could do it too. Other job ideas could be delivering news papers at night when your hubby is home. Best of Luck!

I just started a job as a rebate verifier for Resolve Corporation. They are locatd in Strongsville off of Westwood drive. If you give me your email i can email you an application. Im not sure if they are hiring right now but they seem to hire about 2 times a year.

There are actually 2 positions that they hire for. The first one is what I do. I take home a few batches of mail and code it a certain way to approve or deny the rebates. The other position is data entry you do it from your own computer at home. They give you a program you install on your PC.

Its not something you will get rich off of but every dollar counts. I have been making about $150-$200 every 2 weeks. I also babysit and take care of my family so it dosnt interfer with my life at all.

You just have to be able to make it up to the main office every other day to drop off and pick up new work. You can pretty much pick the times that are best for you.

Let me know if you are interested and i can email you an application.
