Has Anyone Tried Intelligender?

Well as you can already tell, when it comes to baby gender, I have absolutely no patience. I took an intelligender test and it says Im having a boy. I am just curious if this has been true for anyone. Supposibly its 90% effective.....

In case anyone is wondering, its a urine test I bought at walgreens. I took it simply for fun and I have read a lot of responses online about it being correct, I am def not counting on this just curious to see others experiences with it. And I just wanted to add that the purpose of ultrasound is to check the health and developement of baby and not for just determining the sex of a baby. So I am not comparing this test to an ultrasound, because that would be silly. Again, if anyone has tried it, I would love to hear your experience.

What can I do next?

Sigh. I'm always amazed, at these questions. I do not mean to sound condescending, at all. (I'm certainly not trying to be!) With all the medical technology out there...if these tests actually were effective...do you think they'd need expensive to buy, care for, and replace machines like the ultrasound? Don't you think they'd rather give a person a simple urine test and send them on their way? I think so. I worked with insurance and they don't make much money charging insurance, for ultrasounds.

You might be interested to know, that they are a part of a class action law-suit and are being investigated. You might end up having a boy...but you had a 50% chance anyway...which is pretty great odds. No, I don't think these tests should be treated as a scientific test. These tests are as good as a coin flip.

Intelligender does not work. It is right 50% of the time ;-) You can even get a change in results based on the food you eat. Basically it's just an expensive litmus (ph) test. www.in-gender.com has a lot of information on all things gender. In the forums there, I know there are discussions on intelligender.

you might as well do the old wedding-ring-over-the-belly thing and save yourself a few bucks.

I can't help you at all but when do you take the test? That's cool! As long as it's hormone-oriented it probably is effective. estrogen vs testostrone.

Look at it this way...you have a 50/50 chance of it being right...now matter WHAT the test says!!! I understand how you feel...I was always SO impatient to find out whether I was having a boy or a girl. Good luck to you and congratulations!!!

It does not work. I tried it twice at 12 and 14 weeks and it clearly showed a boy both times. But I am finally having a girl.

Hey N.G. from Dallas, how long have you been working for Intelligender?

Judgmental, condescending Moms:
She asked for your experiences, not your judgments. That is everything that is wrong with this site: keep your negative opinions to yourselves!
She said she did it for fun. Doesn't sound like she's riding her future on this test. Sheesh, get a grip.
It will be interesting to see if you actually do have a boy Mo- I was the same way when I was pregnant, completely impatient ! My 2nd child was breech until 37 weeks pregnant, and turned so that they could never see her gender on the ultrasound. Finally, two weeks before I had her, I found out she was a girl. If I had known about that fun little pee test, I'd have done it too!!
Good luck with your baby!
