Has Anyone Heard of This?

I was on Craigslist and found a listing for a work at home opportunity. I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of or done it that can tell me if it is legit. They sent me an e-mail and the website is THERIGHTMETHOD.COM. It pays you $25 for every application completed. They are e-mailed to you and you do them whenever you want. They claim that you can realistically make $300-$500/week depending on how many you do. You pay them $24.95 for the training materials which you get back with you first completed application. Has anybody ever heard of it?

Thank you so much!! :)

So What Happened?

Well, I spent the $24.95 for the "training materials" and then when I read them I found out that there is no real business. You simply place ads and get people to pay for the materials from you. I then went on to do a yahoo search on work at home scams (something I SHOULD have done in the first place) and found out that all the envelope stuffing jobs are just like the one I fell for and they are actually illegal. So...I'm feeling pretty stupid and would like anybody who reads this to know that IT WAS A SCAM!!

Hi!

I've also been looking into possible work at home opportunities. I'm afraid that most will (are) scams though. The postings are a great help in knowing which ones to avoid.

Is there anyone still looking to do work from home? I'd possibly be interested in looking into this with someone else, instead of all on my own!

I hope you are still checking this forum... I found a company based in Ohio to do medical claim processing. It does cost $195 (licensing fee) and you are a subcontractor not an employee.. But they provide you the claims (ie. Dr's notes) via fax and then you remotely access their mainframe and enter the information. I have just started and had 2 training sessions, one over the phone and one using WebEx - internet conferencing. This afternoon I have my 3rd training and tomorrow am scheduled to begin receiving claims. So far I am still a bit apprehensive: they pay $1/claim; however, they start you off with only 3 -5 claims.. I could work for them for almost two months and just make my money back (the 195)...
I will post the company info and etc... as soon as I am sure they are legit.
For quick money have you considered delivering papers? I actually deliver a small local paper 6 days a week (about 12 - 13 hours a week) and get over $150 for extra money a week.

Hi,
I've heard of work at home and regular jobs that are structured like that. It's great that visionaries can see the opportunities out there and we're smart enough to know a plan that works. You may or may not want a 6-figure income but if I told you I'm a 24yo african-american, single mom with a 14 month old daughter on my way to that level this year, 2007, would you want to know what I'm doing to get there? I have so much information on this business opportunity and am so excited to share it with other moms that are looking to see some real results behind their efforts. my email is ____@____.com

I understand what you are going through. I spent money on those "stuffing envelopes" scams. They seems so legit. However after much research I found two really great companies. Richmont Direct/Inkbrary. They sell everything from ink cart. to knicknacks for the home. And the other is a grop of mom's promoting products to help make this world a safer place. Please feel free to check out my websites.

I just started a job as a rebate verifier for Resolve Corporation. They are locatd in Strongsville off of Westwood drive. If you give me your email i can email you an application. Im not sure if they are hiring right now but they seem to hire about 2 times a year.

There are actually 2 positions that they hire for. The first one is what I do. I take home a few batches of mail and code it a certain way to approve or deny the rebates. The other position is data entry you do it from your own computer at home. They give you a program you install on your PC.

Its not something you will get rich off of but every dollar counts. I have been making about $150-$200 every 2 weeks. I also babysit and take care of my family so it dosnt interfer with my life at all.

You just have to be able to make it up to the main office every other day to drop off and pick up new work. You can pretty much pick the times that are best for you.

Let me know if you are interested and i can email you an application.

Hi L.,

Congratulations on the new baby to be! I have never heard of the Craiglist, and it sounds like a scam to me...the Best money to be made in a stay at home business is Network marketing. These are companies that have a great product that you talk to your family, friends & their friends & acquaintances about. I am with a company called BIOPRO Technology...they are at the leading edge of BIOEnergetic technology. I didn't know what this was until a few of my good friends told me about what is happening when I use my cordless & cell phones. They emit EMR's (Electro Magnetic Radiation), just like what comes out of your microwave! This radiation is causing serious illness in our world (yes, this is Global)! They have also linked cordless & cell phone usage to causing brain & eye tumors & cancer. Well this scared me enough to join the company and be on a TEAM of wonderful people who all have the same goal to help protect people & their children from these risks of cancer. This company makes products that actually block that radiation from penetrating into your body. The nutritional products actually detox your cells so nutrients can get in. With all the electro magnetic radiation around us, our cells are holding the toxins inside & not letting the nutrients in. No wonder I keep hearing about so many people getting cancer, Parkinsons & Alheimers. I hope to never be in any of those categories. I am looking for people who are serious about wanting to help others be safe & healthy, who want to make some money doing it. There are NO other companies in the world like BIOPRO Technology. There is a serious problem around us & this company has given us the Solution. If you want more information about what is happening and how you can get started making a little or a LOT of money from home, here is my website, and a site to see the Research about what is used in the products (ERT-Energy Resonance Technology) & MRET (Molecular Resonance Effect Technology).

The Safe Wireless Initiative is the organization that the cell phone industry paid $25 million to do a 5 yr study on the safety of cell phones...they were not able to prove they are safe...no the cell phone industry & Disney are targeting 8 year olds to get a cell phone. Scarey to think that in 3 to 5 years 400,000 to 500,000 people will be diagnosed with brain cancer! I need your & others help to get the word out, I am only one voice. My pay check is growing every month because we have the Solution to this problem that will not be going away!
I hope to hear from you & others who want to make some money & help people start protecting our future generation!

Hi L.,
While I am not familiar with Craigslist I agree with the other responders who spoke of its deceitfulness. I work from home and in fact could speak to the responder who recommended Ecoquest. I won't share the info here but will privately if you so desire.
The company I work with is 50 years old. The owner of 2 years spent 20 million dollars over a five year period investigating business opportunities and when he found this company he said it was the best business in the best industry and he plans for it to be the company he passes down to his children one day. Please let me know if you'd like to know more. You can check out www.explorefreedom.com/changinglives if you want to get an idea of the industry. Believe me, we are actual people working an actual business. It is not a scam or a get-rich-quick scheme. It provides residual income (meaning business will be generated long after you have made the initial sale) and you never get paid unless you have helped someone else.
Best of luck in your endeavors. Aren't you glad you learned about craigslist before you lost any money to it?

I haven't heard of this specific business, but it sounds like some others I've heard of or tried. My husband heard of the thing where you stuff envelopes for money, so he ordered the stuff for $30. It's a total scam. You have to get other people to pay you $30 each to stuff envelopes and keep it going. Just be cautious about some of these "opportunities" as most aren't really ways of making income.

I just started my own business as an Independent Consultant for a company called BeautiControl. I have Spa Escapes in peoples homes, where I bring spa-quality products and create a relaxing spa atmosphere in people's homes. It is so fun and easy to do! You can earn $1000 a month if you can do just two spas a week, and they only last an hour each. I don't know many other things where you can earn that much for that little time. I love the products and use them all the time. Once people experience them, they sell themselves and are anxious to book their own spas!

If you are interested in more info, I'd love to share it with you! Good luck!

If you have to ask yourself "is this too good to be true" it IS! Also think of any other employer that has you pay to work for them. Yes some places like fast food have you pay for a uniform, but none that I know of up front. All of them only take it out of your last pay check if you don't return them.

I am always leary of all work from home job offers... just because there are a lot of scam ones out there. I would recommend looking up the company on the BBB website. I have looked into about 20-30 of them and BBB reported each one as a fraudulent company or simply a company that had a lot of complaints. Most of the ones I looked into came from either craigslist or local newspapers (herald, free press, toledo parent, etc). After getting excited, then looking them up and being let down I finally decided I am busy enough and risking getting caught by a scam just wasn't worth the slim chance of any of these being legit. It is risky but there are some good ones out there I'm sure... so if you are considering any work from home job make sure it is a real company with good standing through BBB.
