In the past I've cooked ham, new red potatoes and green beans in the crockpot, but it seems to me I had it one time where there was a creamy sauce on it too. Could anyone share a recipe with me?

What can I do next?

Hi K. I make a white sauce of butter, flour and milk and I most always put a little garlic powder in it. I also make another sauce nearly the same and I use butter, corn starch, and either water from cooking the potatoes, or just plain water.
I melt about two tablespoons of butter in a skillet, add the about two tablespoons of flour or corn starch. Make a smooth paste with the above and then add as much water or milk to make your sauce. I don't know what either wouldn't work with the ham, gr. beans and potatoes.
UMMMMMM!!!!
Good luck sometimes if your fire is to hot you will get lumps and they are NOT good.

We have an old family recipe that is ground beef with cream sauce, potatoes and green beans. We make it in a skillet. Brown the beef, add cream of mushroom soup, layer sliced potatoes on top of that (season), then green beans as top layer. I usually put a lid on the ground beef/soup/potatoes to let the potatoes cook then add the green beans closer to being done. Its very tasty, easy and a comfort food in my world! Its not exactly what you are looking for but I am sure you can substitute ham with a cream of celery soup.

Good Luck!

My grandma used to make a new potatoes and peas dish with a cream sauce! I will have to get the recipe from her. I'll let you know if I get it:)

HMMM never seen ham with a creamy sauce, but when I do a roast like that, adding a can of cream of mushroom soup (no water it mixes just fine with the juices from the food) gives me a nice gravy with no extra work.
