For those of you that see Gracie over the weekend, could you please give feedback? It looks like such a great story especially for girls, but my daughter is 7. (It is PG-13.) Please let me know if it is inappropriate. I appreciate your thoughts.

I use common sense media for help in understanding the ratings and to "hear" other concerned parents' opinions of the movie. I sent you the Gracie review via email. But just in case, go to www.commonsensemedia.org and check it out. Sign up and you'll get OCCASIONAL updates as new movies come out.

Hope your summer is going well so far, my kids are already at each other's throats! Thank goodness for Scout day-camp next week!!

I won't be seeing it this weekend but I would highly suggest you check out Focus on the Family. They do a great job of telling you what's in a movie and if it is appropriate for certain ages. They don't really do like Roger Ebert and give the movie a thumbs up or down but tell you what's in the movie so you aren't surprised. I've used it many times when trying to decided if a movie was appropriate for my daughter to see. Here is their content review for Gracie.

copy and paste and you should get right to it. If not go to family.org and click under entertainment and then reviews and it's right there on the main page

I rely quite a bit on Yahoo movie reviews - specifically the Mom's Review. I've not been disappointed in their perspective.
