I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for good preschools in the Olympia area? I have a 3 year old, will be 4 in the fall, and was hoping to start up preschool.
My kids have gone to Log Cabin and it's great. I have also heard that Good Shepherd is excellent. Hands On Museum has a preschool that's good but maybe a little more expensive. When we moved here I talked to a couple of people who recommended one called Sparkleberries. As the prior poster mentioned, many preschools did registration in February/March, but I'm sure you can find a space somewhere... :)
There are alot of good ones here in the area. Most have a wait list by this time though. SunshineHeart, Good Shepherd Preschool, The Co-op Preschools are great if you have time to be involved. It also depends on what you budget is too and what part of town you live in or want to drive to.
Best bet is to open the yellow pages and start making a list. Good Luck.
Another couple to consider are Serendipity at the Valley Athletic Club and Nana's on the West side. My daughter is 4 and has gone to Serendipity for 2 years, and she'll be starting Nana's in the fall. Both are great! Good luck!
SPARKLEBERRY'S PRESCHOOL!!! Especially for the age of your child. They focus on building social skills and confidence. My five year old is starting Kindergarten as ready as can be and my three year old will now go to Sparkleberrys.
