Good Obgyns in South O.C Fountain Valley/irvine Area

I live in Newport Beach and was referred to a number of great doctors in the area. The one that was recommended by my fertility doctor, who is now my doctor, is Gigi Kroll. She is excellent. She has many years of experience and is very compassionate. Also, if you express a medical concern she will work to get you in quickly or refer you to an outside source.
Another doctor that came highly recommended was Rhonda Flora. She has gotten great reviews by a number of women in my neighborhood. I tried to get in to see her, but she wasn't able to take me as an OB patient.
Another doctor that I did see that I would NOT recommend is Dr. Weatherford Clayton. He gave me very little of his time, and when I asked questions, he was very impatient about it.

I had our daughter in Fountain Valley at Orange Coast Memorial. The doctor's office was in the Talbert Medical Group just off Brookhurst & Talbert. The Dr. was Dr. Robinson and the nurse midwife was Marcia. (Sorry, don't remember her last name.) They were both very caring and attentive. That was 6 yrrs. ago & I stil go back & say hi when I have to go in to my regular dr. appts. It has been very much a family friendly experience. Good luck with your search. I have known Dr. Mendelsohn for about 10 years and she has delivered one of my grandchildren and babies of many of my friends. She's a phenomenal doctor and has great patient loyalty - for good cause.

My OB/GYN is Dr. Roya Rakhshani in Fountain Valley. Her office phone number is 714/241-8814. I was very happy with her care during my pregnancy and I continue to use her as my GYN for regular female exams.

I have several friends who used Dr. Strachen at the Doctors For Women office in Irvine. I am new to the area as well but definitely plan to use Dr. Strachen when I am ready to have my next baby. She does her deliveries at Hoag.
