Has anyone taken the intelligender test (available at Walgreens, CVS, etc)? If so, was it accurate for you. I'm thinking about buying one, but wanted to know if it is worth it.

My sister took one and based on the color it came out, it read "girl." She ended up having a boy, so hers did not work. I think it probably remains the same result 50/50! ;)
It was fun to do but I wouldn't use it to go and paint a baby room pink!! Best wishes-Elizabeth

THey talked about it on the show the Doctors, and for all the women there that they did it on it was accurate. I did not try it this last go around because I was having twins, a boy and a girl, and it probably wouldn't have worked.

Yes it is accurate :)

Just make sure you read all the instructions properly, the first time I used it I didn't realise I should not be taking my progesterone for xx number of days before so then I bought another one and used it and then realized that you are not supposed to have intercourse for xxx number of days before. So finally on the third try I re-read the instructions and made sure there was nothign I was doing wrong.. and voila I got the result..... And yes we are having a boy :)

They are NOT accurate. My daughter took one and it said she was having a boy.. Miss Emma will be here in a few weeks!

That has to be a fluke!! there is no way to accuratly predict what you are going to have unless you have an ultrasound that confirms it.

although the hanging needle trick is a fun wives tale--you place a needle on some thread and let it hang over your belly--if goes in circles you have a boy and if it goes from side to side you are having a girl.--can't remember if this worked for me or not, but i remember doing it.
