When we were there my FIL took us to Moody Gardens and we went to the Aquarium Pyramid. It was awesome and all the kids loved seeing the ocean life! When we went our girls were 8, 3, and 2, and they really enjoyed this experience! Have fun on your vacation!

oh goodness there are lots of things to do.. one ofccourse is always the beach...either crystal beach or stewart beach. There is Moody gardens which has 3d/4d movies, the rainforest museum, the aquarium, a man made beach, a boat ride thing... go to their website and it tells you everything and i think your child is free. Then there is Schlitterbahn, which you can get discount tickets at the HEB in Galveston. It is so fun and lots of things for little kids to do their. Then there is downtown...with all the shops and restaurants. And then you can always go over to Kemah and rides the rides and go to the boardwalk for fireworks and such! Have fun...we are going this weekend!!

We went last summer with the kids. The beach was by far the big hit of the entire trip. My kids (age 7, 5, and 1 1/2) at the time loved it!! We went to Stewart Beach and a strip of beach just across the street from our hotel.

We did go to Moody Gardens. The aquarium was fun but we weren't that impressed with their "beach" or the paddle boat ride.

The 3 year old will probably love to go to Rainforest Cafe. The food is just ok and it is a little expensive for what you get, but the kids enjoy the scenery. We also ate at a little cafe in The Strand area called Yaga's (sp?). It was a wonderful discovery! Best food we had the entire trip and we just stumbled upon it.

Good luck,
K.

This always reminds me of the song "Galveston" by Glen Campbell.
My parents loved it and it dates how old I am.

Anyway....I hope you get some good suggestions.
