hi..J...my name is K. i have a 14 month old..and me and my husband are always looking for fun young parent to hang with..i stay at home so during the day we woul love to play..we live on 2222 near 620..i know what you mean about the weight thing..i also quit breastfeeding for the same reasons..(he was 8moms)...so if you want to hang just let me know...we love grilling and drinking also.........i'm 23 and my husband is 25...i would love to met you guys...

I don't live in Austin yet, but will be moving there shortly...April probably being the latest. I'm 28 and have a 3 month old daughter and my husband and I also got married in March. I grew up in southern California where I was a nanny the last 2 years. We moved here to Houston where my husband is originally from in October but have decided it's not the perfect fit. Austin seems to be more our style! We would love to meet people our age with kids too! Maybe when we get out there we can meet up with the kids or go play pool!

My husband and I and our 3 children (ages, 4 1/2, 19mos, and 8 weeks) just moved to South Austin a little over 3 weeks ago. We moved here from Wisconsin and away from all family. It's been a tough transition for all of us, but we are slowly adjusting. I am a 29 year old nurse, who has decided to now be a stay at home mom and enjoy my children while they are little and I love it, except for the fact that I have no alone time. Like you said, 'work-out hard, get my nails done, have a drink', I wish. I would love to be able to meet new couples who also have small children and not just a playdate for my kids but also an adult to talk to. I know we are not exactly 'new parents', but we are parents and we did just move to South Austin and would like to meet new people.
