Hello, I'm looking to buy my first home. Does anyone know about this builder? Or where to look for records regarding a builder?

Thanks!

Great advice, ladies!

I am going to make an offer in the next couple of days! I feel much better about the choice of builder just from your references here. Thanks so much.

My husband is an electrician and wires houses for them and some other builders here in Texas.

First texas (Gallery)- Good Quality Builder but watch the extras they are outragious.

Lennar-Excellant Quality Zero custamization. By far the highest quality standards

Plantation (MHI)- good quality builder but wouldnt give them top marks

grand- Don't even think of using this builder looks can be deceving.

Kimball Hill- Good quality but for a specific taste. Meaning all there plans are pretty much the same.

Also were are you guys looking to build? And wanted to tell you you are going to find good and bad on all of these builders. In my opinion word of mouth is the best way to go.
I hope this helps you some.

Hi E.,

My name is C. Roeschen with The Trinity Group and Keller Williams.

To answer your question you can look up First Texas Homes simply by goggling them, www.ripoffreport.com, or the better business bureau.
Some of the reports on First Texas Homes are not showing them in the best light. But I have just sold two of them in the last couple of months and both of my clients have been extremely happy with their services and quality of work. I'm not sure if this is because they used a realtor or not.

One client bought a home in Grayhawk in Frisco, and she mentioned that you will need to come out at least once a week to check on the builders. But the builders are more than happy to re-do work if it's not up to standards of the buyer. My other client bought in Waterview, Rowlett and have no complaints at all, they were 100% satisfied with the builder. If you would like to call both of my clients to get some feed back let me know, they would love to talk with you.

If you are not already working with a real-estate agent I would love to help you and your family through the process.

Best Wishes,

C. Roeschen

One of my clients is an established realtor in the area. She sells very high end homes...expensive homes. She, herself, is going to build with First Texas Homes. I just did her hair earlier this week and she said they are her favorite builder. When a realtor decides to build their house with them, that says a lot! Good luck!

We owned a First Texas home in Waterview and we were very happy. We moved away to Corpus Christi and then moved back and bought a Newmark Home and we wished that we would have bought a First Texas. If they built in Rockwall then we would have sure bought another one.
