We bought our 9 year old a DSi for her b-day today and 1 game. Her party is this weekend. We want to get her another game to go with it, but are also wondering about accesories. What have your kids loved with it? Should we buy the case too?
buy the accessory kit, which comes with a basic case, car charger, which we used a lot, screen protectors, spare stylus and ear buds

check toys r us often for special in video games last week was all video games get one and the other for half price .
yes buy a case! to help protect against scratches drops etc... also ear phones. ones that fit your daughter accordingly! I got all that stuff at Ross and Marshalls much cheaper!
Also try Biglots and kohls for games. I found some for $14.50... or the used section of game stop which also runs sales usually once a month for buy 2 used games get 1 free.
