This type of work from home is most likely a scam. For 3 years I have been working from home and helping others do the same. So many times I have heard stories of people getting ripped off from stuffing envelopes. I would not recommend sending the $50. You did not list the name in your request, but even if you did I would not know any specifics. However, I have heard many stories about such marketing schemes, and while the activities may not be illegal, it's not likely that you would end up happy with your investment. I urge you to look on-line at the Texas Attorney General's office - there are normally lists of businesses and/or scams that have been reported to the TAG. Additionally, you can look on-line with the Better Business Bureau and see if there have been complaints. Good luck.
