If so, THANK YOU. I have not ever read such an inspiring and humbling book. For the record, I am not particularly religious, but that absolutely did not stand in the way of appreciating this amazing story. In addition to religious texts such as the Bible, what are some other books that were, for lack of a better phrase, life-changing for you? I am going to recommend "The Hiding Place" to many people in my life. Thank you again.
Many people recommend "Kite Runner" (which I love) as a life changing book. But I actually liked "A Thousand Splendid Suns" better. I don't know why it hasn't gotten as much press. I also love "Three Cups of Tea" as well as the second one he wrote (can't think of the name right now) Happy reading!

I loved that book as well. A more recent one that someone recommended to me also was an eye-opener, without being religious. You should check it out. I read it twice it was so interesting, and I don't normally do that.

Studying the Principles of Liberty helped me realize how important religion is to the values we, Americans, hold dear.
I realize that people are leaving all the churches today. The values and principles taught me are no longer being taught by the family.
This is affecting the people's interest in getting involved with government.
We are the sovereign authority of government and yet, young people are forgeting their duties and responsibilities to participate.
Just wanted to share that some books are forgotten to be read in today's society.
