I just got my hair colored/highlighted two weeks ago. It appears to be dry now. Can anyone suggest a product? I have fine hair but lots of it. It is bone straight.

I am a cosmotologist and suggest the Morroccan Oil products, especially the oil treatment!

It depends on the kind of hair. I have curly thick hair that I usually style straight with a blow dryer. I use Moroccan oil products (shampoo, conditioner, oil treatment, spray shine)I have recently had many compliments on how shiny & healthy it looks.

Consider shampooing less often. Too much shampooing can make your hair dry and brittle.

Since you are damaging your hair with the coloring and highlights, it is very important that you use shampoos and conditioners that don't contain alcohol (even more drying) or use gels, hair sprays, etc. that contain it as well. These products will just add to the damage. If a product contains mineral oil, it won't let the ingredients penetrate the hair shaft. I use some great botanically based products and the detox conditioner is awesome!! No chemicals, preservatives, artificial fragrances or dyes or animal by products either. You wouldn't believe the junk that is sold in the stores. I'd love to give you more information if you would like. I used to have thin pin straight hair too but time changed all that! Good luck

Sallys Beauty Supply has some really great salon quality deep conditioning products in trial sized packets. They say one use, but I get about 3-4 uses from one packet. They're about 99cents to 2.00. They'll help you find the right product for you. I love their reconstructor deep conditioner.
