Hi. I am another new mom looking for daycare options in Center City. We are on the waitlist at PIC and the Penn Center in West Philly, and I'm looking at other options also. Anyone know anything about Bright Horizons near the Art Museum or anywhere else west of Broad? Thanks!

What can I do next?

Our neighbors send their daughter to Bright Horizons and she loves it. She even got off the waitlist at Green Towne and they chose to keep her at BH. Both a little out of my way...have you heard anything about the beacon center or little miracles?

Thx, PL

Bright horizons is excellent - If you can get in there, then go for it! I was going to move my daughter there but then changed job locations so it was no longer convenient. Mulberry is another option (19th or 17th and JFK.)

Hello, my name is L., I am not sure if my daycare is in the location you are looking for. I own Little Duckies Daycare in south Philadelphia, I am about 2 blocks from the Skukill- I am about 3 miles from Center City. You can check out my daycare at

There are pictures of the facilty and more information for parents...tell me what you think!

We have used Mulberry Childcare at 17th and Market for over 3 years now and are very happy with it. My daughter responds great to the teachers and classmates. She'll be four in October.
