During the past year I've been through chemo, radiation, ect. These treatments plus my age (46) has ravaged my skin with dark spots. My face is horrible!!! Have anyone tried Aveeno or any other treatments that truly help? Thanks to all & have a Great Hump day :)

What can I do next?

In your situation, I would see a good dermatologist because your body has been through so much.

A dermatologist can give you a special crème with HQ that will bleach out dark spots. It is very drying to your skin.

I would think with your specific situation, you need something with more "punch" than OTC products in order to start seeing a difference. I do know Proactive has a product. My hubby is a golfer and will occasionally get dark spots and he uses the Proactive product for dark spots.

Personally, I use special essential oils by Kaplan MD and Clinique Repairwear Serum. The main thing I do is wear sunscreen DAILY without fail. I even put some on my hands and neck.

I hope you are in much better health now and will continue to improve.

After chemo, I'd be careful about what to use on your skin.
Avoid sun exposure - wear sunscreen always.

Give yourself a good skin peel with some Retin A, or get a professional laser or chemical peel. Bleaching cremes with hydroquinone work for dark spots, but you have to be careful of sun exposure.

I've picked up some dark spots over the years but for some reason this year it really started to bother me. I've been using Olay Regenerist Daily Thermal Mini-Peel followed by Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Aging UV Defense Regenerating Lotion SPF 50. Really seems to be working.
