I am looking for a great bakery to do a custom 1st birthday cake to match my DIVA invitaitons you all helped me with. I live in north fort worth, fossil creek area. I just want something really different and special, close to home. Also you can let me know of any neat ideas you may have for the cake. I think we will just have to use the same colors and come up with our own design. The invite is my little girl all "diva" dressed-up and bright pink and purple are the colors. This lady makes really cute custom cake toppers. She could make you one in pink and purple, maybe wearing a feather boa and tiara with pink lips or something.
For my son's first birthday, I made a number one and decorated in in large polka dots and stripes, I love that combination, would be cute in diva colors.

My friend always uses Texas Star Bakery in Hurst. Is that close to you? They are always delicious and so super cute (the last one was an farm theme with three layers - the top was a red barn made out of foam - so cute!). She usually takes in an invitation and they can match it perfectly. They probably would have some great ideas too. Good luck!
