Is there any type of service that will wait for a package to be delivered at your home? I always miss the UPS guy, and have to go pick it up at the center, which is not close to where I live.

If you can't have ups packages delivered to your place of business instead, you can set up an account at your nearest ups store and have all packages delivered there
I don't know about a service, but do you have any retired neighbors or stay at home mom friends who would wait for a package at your house or just drop by to check for it and take it home for you to pick up later? Or can you have it delivered directly to your work? That's what we do!
J., can you just sign the slip on the back and leave a note for the driver to deliver the next day? In my experience, they deliver 3 days consecutively and only after that will they have you pick up the package. Some friends used to have their packages delivered to work, too, but that isn't always possible. Good luck.

I don't know your house situation, i have a fence/gate that you need a key to get in and because of my business (dog boarding) i do not have a doorbell so i to always missed the ups driver i finally gave him a key to the gate so he leaves my packages under the porch or at the top of my stairs by the door. I always have the same driver check with yours they usually have the same route.
hopefully this will work for you it can be a pain.
