I am pondering clay cookware. Have any of you tried clay cookware, and if so, do you recommend it and which kind did you purchase?
Thanks!

I have 7 of the Pampered Chef clay bakeware/cookware items. I choose to use the clay over glass any day.

I have lots of clay cookware; both glazed and unglazed. IT's FABULOUS! I bought so much of it that I decided to start selling it myself.
What I like about it is:
1. It's One Pot Cooking. (the glazed pottery) You can mix in it, cook in the oven with it, serve with it, put it in the fridge, put it in the microwave and in the dishwasher when you are done with it. (The only thing you can't do is use it on the stove top or grill.)
2. It's pretty and great to decorate with and use daily.
3. Your food heats more evenly and doesn't burn as easy in clay pottery.
4. While your clay pottery keeps things hot longer, you can also put it in the refrigerator or freezer and it will keep your food cold longer too.
Let me know if you would like to see what is available through my company Celebrating Home. I'll even give you 25% off your first order!!
Once you use pottery, you won't want anything else.

I have two clay pizza pans and one roaster. I love them!!!! The pizza pans are pampered chef. I'm not sure who made the roaster because it was a gift I received a very long time ago.

It is a little over rated. I used one to bake a chicken and thought-how did my mother and grandmother do this? LOL
I just use regular roasting or dutch oven and/or foil in an open pan and it is the same result.Even a large crock-pot can do a lot of the same things.
I do use my pizza sheet from Pampered Chef and it is nice.
