Christmas Gift

My son is in a Kindercare center. I know who his primary teacher is and would like to get her a gift for Christmas (like a $25 gift card). However, I do know that there are others that work there and I cannot afford to get all of them gifts. Do I just get her the gift card and ask her to be discreet, or get nothing, or maybe even get the others just a nice Christmas card. I'm not sure what the "etiquette" is for this sort of thing. HELP!

What can I do next?

If the others that work at the center work directly with your son (aide, co-teacher, etc) I would try to find a way to afford a gift for them as well. If you would like to consider alternatives, how about gift cards in lesser denominations, cookie/snack/breakfast tray to be shared or Christmas ornaments? Some teachers appreciate things for the classroom such as art supplies, books or subscriptions to teacher/caregiver magazines or children's magazines (they have ones for infants/toddlers that are more like board boooks).

I was going to suggest a similar idea to the other person... The gift for your primary teacher is nice and you can send a card with cookie tin/tray for them to snack on in the center. I've been a Kindercare teacher as well as a teacher in a grade school over the years. While it is quite thoughtful when families give small gifts to everyone, it honestly gets to be too much. Gift cards are super but you can only use so many candles and lotions. It is super to have some treats to nibble while on breaks so you can keep your energy up with all the energy that the kids have that time of year!

I'd give the primary card to the teacher but perhaps do a small cookie tin (if you can) for the others involved.
My son has a main teacher w/2 aides in his class. They all get a cookie bag from me with a $5 gift card to Starbucks or Panera Breads.
I do the same for his therepist he sees. That way they all get something without busting my budget.
