I've been collecting the Box Tops for Education (from cereal boxes, etc.) but haven't seen any local organizations asking for these. Are there any local organizations that collect these? We live in Grapevine and are in Carroll ISD.

What can I do next?

My sister-in-law is the chairperson for her school in Flower Mound. I forwarded this to her & she will send you her schools address in case you would like to donate to them!

You might want to call the local public elementary school
that is closest to you, and see if they are saving them.
The counselor or principal would be a good contact person
Blessings!

You can check on the Box Tops for Education website for participating schools in your area. Go to www.boxtops4education.com , click on "sign up now" on the upper right hand side. You can enter your zip code and it will show you a bunch of schools in your neighborhood that participate. (you don't have to continue to register if you don't want to)

Look around the website. You can also register to receive additional coupons and offers on products that have box tops. There are recipes and other things on there as well.

Our school collects them and uses the money for books and playground equipment. Check with your school. If they don't collect them I would talk to the PTA and start collecting. It is a very good program and worth the effort.

Hi A.,
Many of the local private and pre- schools take them and actually need them to excel. Our's just used some of the money towards a safer, more ergonomic, playground. If you plan to send your child to preschool at any point then save them. They will improve your child's educational, social development, and safety at your school of choice.

Thanks for saving them

As far as I know, all of the local schools collect them. I've had experience with both Grapevine Elementary on Hall Johnson and Glenhope Elementary on Glenhope circle (off Pool). Thanks for collecting, and please find a school that will take them! The school can get up to like $5000 per year from box tops! FREE, EASY MONEY!

Your local Elementary school will by happy to take them. As a PTA member and BoxTop Coordinator, I want to thank you for taking the time to do that.

Each BoxTop is worth 10cents for the school. It doesn't seem like much, but it does add up. Throwing the package away is like throwing a dime away every time.

Thank you, A.!

Does the school not ask for them? I am in the Northwest ISD and my kids are in elementary and each class has competitions to see how many box tops that are collected. Since your children are not school aged, I would see what school they would be going to and just donate them for now, because they do have an expiration date. It is an awesome program, for instance, our elementary ended up getting over $1000.00 just for box tops.

Hello,

Most local schools collect these. Our elementary school has a dark pink box with the box top logo in the lobby for people to drop them off at. I bet if you call any of the local elementary school they would be glad to take them and let you know where to drop off. They are a great way for schools to earn money!

Our school collects them if you haven't already found someone to give them too. My son goes to Harrison Lane Elementary in Hurst. We are a title 1 school, which means most of our families are very poor. We are currently using monies from the box tops to get gym supplies and are working towards getting new cafeteria tables for our school through our PTA. We would be blessed to recieve these if you should choose! Thank you for your willingness to help support other organizations.

I think most elementary schools collect them, I know ours does. Our church collects them, and donates them to a local school that serves primarily underprivileged kids. If you need a place to donate them, please contact me. I'll be happy to take them to our church. But you can probably find a place in your local ISD (I'm in LISD).

Thanks!

Carroll ISD collects them. Some of the Elementary schools (Rockenbaugh for sure) have collection boxes in the hallways, just outside some of the classrooms. Or you can just turn them in to the school office.

If you know someone that has a school age child, let them take them to their teacher. I collect and send them with my son every few months.

My son's school collects them. We are a small private school in NRH and use them to purchase things that we need for the school. They help us because we do not get state funds.

Let me know if you would like further information. Thanks!
