So What Happened?

I decided not to go with blues clues. we decided on candyland. I made the cards myself and got the cake made by audrey ross. she is amazing. here is a link to the cake, i can't find the invitations so there is no photo of it. I put a photo of lolly andthe lollipop fields with 3 rectangles on each side of the photo. on the back I put all of the info and put 3 small photos of the king and his castle, gingerbread forest, and peppermint. please comment and let me know what you guys think.

Here are some ideas from other moms who've done a Blues Clues theme. Click on the arrows at the top left of the page for more.

My youngest (17 months) has recently discovered her older sister's Blues Clues tapes. She's a Steve girl; Joe makes her cry. :)

I LOVE Blue's Clues! lol Do you have a "Steve" shirt for her to wear with khaki shorts or even a cute khaki skirt? Totally adorable!!

I would definitely make or buy the Handy Dandy Notebooks. We got ours at Party City for my son's party. I think your invitation idea with the 3 clues is SUPER CUTE! Definitely do that! Maybe even send the Notebooks with the clues as the invitation. :D

The NickJr.com site has some great party ideas for Blue. Here's the link: http://www.nickjr.com/party/party_packs/blues_summer_part....

Have a great time! :)

Here's a cute mailbox:

Or you can make one yourself out of posterboard. I think just by watching the show, and doing what they do would be cute. You can make blue cupcakes (just some blue food coloring with white frosting, and get blue's clue stickers. Cut them out and tape them to toothpicks and insert them into the cupcakes.

Here's an easy template on making a Blues Clues cake:

You can cut out paw prints out of blue construction paper and tape them on the wall.

you could get little toys to give out as gifts & mark them with a paw print for a clue & then if the child spotted it they could keep it....if the kids are old enough for that.
