I am having the hardest time finding Blue's Clues party supplies (found some on Ebay), but favors and games elude me. I thought about trying to make puppy paw print cookies but don't know how I feel about sending sugar home - they get enough of that at the party right? So what are some fun Blue's Clues themed ideas for a 2 year-old's birthday? Mind you he LOVES Blues and is a very bright and interactive kiddo. Thanks!

What can I do next?

Do what they do on the show - have a Blues Clues mystery. Put blue paw print clues around for them to solve. You can also do the Mailbox thing. Go to the website and see if there are printables - coloring pages or games you can print as favors. There may be a pin the ear on blue or something. You could make you own with a picture and some velcro. Sing the same songs they do on the show. Have blue Koolaid instead of punch.

We did Blues Clues for my son's party when he turned 3. For the cake, I made a simple 9inch round cake and 4 cupcakes - arranged around the cake it looked like a paw print! (blue frosting). I love the clue game idea. Get whatever small "goodie" and hide, make up 3 simple clues to help the kids find it - at age 2, they'll need lots of help, but try to make the clues pictures. You could get each of the kids their own Notebook and crayon to "write" down the clues in.

This is all I found. I think that the cookie idea is really cute too. Could you do clues to find their cookies? Draw clues on paper, etc. We did this for a pirate party for my 3 year old. They found a huge treasure chest at the end and it was full of "booty" which was their packages of party favors. They had a blast!

How about having blueberry pancakes instead of cookies? I remember one "Blue's Room" episode where Blue said she loved blueberry pancakes because they have blue spots just like she does :-).

and for party favors - how about, every guest gets a handy-dandy notebook?
