So What Happened?

Thanks, moms! We took 1488 to 290 today and found gorgeous fields of bluebonnets and daisies.
I got some fantastic shots of my sons!

This is from Randy Lemon’s Gardenline. He listed this website www.chron.com/houstongardening/wildflowersmap/ This is a list of Bluebonnet sightings with dates.

Last year, we stopped at a huge field a short distance North of the intersection of Hwy. 290 and FM 1155. There is a big red barn for the background of your picture too. It is very close to where the Bluebonnet Festival will be held. Or you can check this website for sightings: http://www.lone-star.net/wildflowers/sightings.htm

I don't know how far North you want to travel, but near Brenham they have entire fields that you can get your picture taken...and they aren't in the median of the highway!

On Highway 290 right after Highway 6 on the left is a hill covered in Bluebonnets.
