Everyone in Texas takes photos of their kids in the beautiful fields of bluebonnets! I am not one for highway pictures and putting lives in danger taking bluebonnet photos. Do any of you out there in mommyland know of or seen a perfect place? I am looking to take these photos in the next 7-10 days. If you haven't noticed they are in bloom and they look as amazing as ever!

Hi M., My friend and I were just walking our little ones yesterday in a park and there's a small area with wild flowers. I'm not sure where you live, but we're in Mansfield and the wild flower garden is along a path that begins at North Park and I think it's off of FM157/Cooper street. You take the path from North Park, take a left when it branches out into two forks, and follow it along. It's not a long walk. In fact, it's between two parks, so if you have walked along the path and reached the 2nd park (Katherine Rose Park), you've gone too far. If you have any questions, please let me know. Have a great day!

Hi, I didn't look to see if anyone had answered you yet, but my folks live nearby Ennis, Texas and they have a bluebonnet festival and bluebonnet trail April 1-30th. Here is the website
http://www.visitennis.org/
Ennis is about a 45 min drive from Euless where I live. The website has all of the best areas to gov for viewing.

Hi M.!
I have been searching for a new location, since the one I have always used has been built over :( ; for blue bonnet pics too...I am an on location photographer. www.ActionPhotos-K3.com The best...off the freeway location I have found is off of 35 take the "Alliance" Blvd exit...stay on access road pull over and on the hill is a beautiful patch of blue bonnets. Safe area but on a hill. I did a shoot there on Monday, the wind was horrible it was a whippen. Good Luck and hope you get some beautiful blue bonnet pics!!

I just got an e-mail of rattlesnakes in with the Blue Bonnets so everyone be careful. Do not know if it is true but something to be aware of. G. W

I just went yesterday to the perfect place. It is 35W and Meachem Blvd, actually Meachem and Aquarius. Its about 2 blocks off the highway and a big open field. If you want better directions, let me know and I can map it for you.
