I was just wondering if anybody knows of any stores that sell a good/large selection of artificial trees. I looked at JCPenney, Home Depot and Michaels today without much luck. I saw one I like and it was over $200. I live in Lisbon, CT so I'm looking for places in the area. Thanks

What can I do next?

they are all around $200 and up. We got ours at costco about 3 years ago. I think target and wallmlart have them as well and maybe a bit cheaper.

Michaels was the only place we found one we liked, and that was because we wanted a mulicolored one. Have you tried Hobby Lobby? They have a large selection right when you walk in.

This might sound horrible, but I got one on sale at Rite Aid and it has never failed us. We've had it for years now and it looks so pretty when we get it decorated. Best $14.99 I ever spent.
We actually bought it to go outside, but ended up with it in the house the next year. It's so nice to be able to just get it out and set it up. Not nearly the same as the real thing, but less hassle too.
You can go online and look at the home shopping networks. They have beautiful trees, some with lights already on, and they've had great deals!
Delivered to your door in just a few days.
Just a suggestion if you can't find one locally.

Best wishes!

We have a fake tree simply because we're not usually here for Christmas and I don't want to leave a fire hazard around, so we compromised (we were also broke college students) and bought a ridiculous pre-lit tree at Wegmans. This is its 7th Christmas. I think it was about $40 at the time and is just a 6 foot tree. Wal Mart might be your next best option, though. I know the realistic ones are pricier. You could try putting an ad on Craigslist or something in case someone is "graduating" to a real tree and has a really nice fake one they want to sell cheaply. My husband can't wait until we start buying a real one. :)

Hobby Lobby has a great selection. If you have a Garden Ridge in your area, they do as well. Lowes has more then Home Depot, I think. They had a $38 6.5 foot tree in their add.
