Boy did you take me back! I lived in Hilo for 5 yrs. and how I miss Aloha Friday! Thanks for reminding me!

oh man I wish!!! But now I have a HUGE smile on my face because you are!! I'm going to live vicariously through you. Think of me while i wrestle my huge hairy dog and two tired bickering kids into our non-airconditioned little car for the half hour ride to the vets.

Nope. Not at all. Kinda wacky today! I woke up to there being TWO nine year old boys in my house (ummmm... parents just dropped him off while my son and I were sleeping. Blink.)

But I'm arranging a once a month weekend where my son is with nana & my husband is elsewhere. :D :D :D So I'm cheshire cat grins in anticipation of it!

Okay, you've seen the new drink at starbucks, right? The ad says 'Get yours with extra aloha!'... running joke with me and my BFF ;) She recently got a baaad sunburn, so I said 'I guess you need extra ALOE-HA, RIGHT?!'

We just got back from an "Aloha week", lol, Been at the lake, doing nothing. Today is our first day back from vacation, so it is decidedly NOT an Aloha Friday. I am trying to catch up on work, get unpacked, also we are packing up the house to move on Tuesday. I desperately wish I was at the beach with a margarita and a book rather than responding to angry emails for my job! Good thing tomorrow is the weekend :)

Yes, I'm having a somewhat Aloha Friday. Had to find some black pants for a costume for older son and got lucky right off the bat at Target. I had planned to spend the entire afternoon looking (not exactly easy to find in the summer in southern FL).

I had my ALOHA friday on Wednesday while my daughter took her girl to visit her brother and I had the whole day to myself with nothing I had to do. So I did NOTHING! well ok I ate and napped and watched a lot of court tv, and read a lot of stuff on MamaPedia.., thats my Aloha friday. loved the down time!

I need an Aloha Friday! I'm listening to the kids play on their laptops (well, three of them...the fourth is grounded) and goofing off on here.

Oh, I'm also getting things together for my new cupcake recipe. I've been doing a cupcake of the week...except this is my second of the week. At the beginning of the week I made Snickers cupcakes. (A chocolate caramel nut cupcake with cream cheese frosting, caramel drizzle and a mini Snicker on top.) Now I'm making a dark chocolate bacon cupcake with chili cream cheese frosting.
