Looking for a water aroebics class for myself & 13 yr old daughter. Would be nice if they had child care for 5 yr. I'm sure I am asking for a lot. Prefer eving classes.

What can I do next?

What about the YMCA? They have a new rate plan based on income, water arobics classes, and child care. Your 13 yr old could also complete their teens on weights training and learn how to use all the exercise equipment. They also offer special teen programs, yoga, karate, pilates, etc. We are trying the one out near us. They offer specials at times.

My gym offers aqua classes and has a daycare. Of course, you would have to join the gym first (Overland Park Athletic Club). Also, check out the area YMCA's.

You could always try the YMCA. They have childcare that I have been happy with (for a 1 year old) and aquatics classes. Not sure about the scheduling, though. You might be able to check out your particular area Y on-line for that information.

You should try the Olathe YMCA, they have several water fitness classes. Kids over the age of I belive 11 can praticipate in most classes. They also have a great child watch center. The membership is month to month and is on a sliding scale according to income. They also have discounts for some employers and insurance companies.

I'm not sure about the ages on the aquatics classes, or your location, but you might want to try Quivira Sports (Quivira Road & 79th Street). They have childcare for your younger child and a pretty wide variety of classes.
