Any Tips on Traveling to Vegas with Two Toddlers????!!

We just got back from a week in Vegas with my 2 year old. We were staying in condos off the strip, but went to the strip plenty of times. My son had a good time at the habitat in the Flamingo hotel. They had lots of ducks, fish and flamingoes for him to look at. He also liked the waterfalls outside the Wynn hotel.

As others suggested, I would bring a good stroller because just walking up/down the strip and looking at the various people dressed up as characters was a great time for him. We even took pictures with the Elmo and Cookie Monster characters.

Mandalay Bay has an aquarium that is pretty good if they like looking at fish. If you decide to go there, I would suggest going to the half price ticket booth (tix4tonight.com) place for discounted tickets.

If you have a car, we found an outside playground at the Town Square Mall which is a few miles south of Mandalay Bay. My son had such a good time playing there that we went back a couple times. They also have great shopping in a more quiet setting.

I had read before we went that Circus, Circus does shows throughout the day, but we didn't make it to that.

As for traveling, we made sure to give him something to drink as we were taking off/landing to help with his ears. Bring a portable DVD player or an IPAD/IPOD for them to play with. I also had "paint with water" books with me because it was new to him so he was enthralled with it and yet, it didn't make a mess.

Good luck....it is going to be hard to maneuver around because kids are not allowed at all in the casino areas..so even to cut through to get to another area of the hotel is going to be an issue.

yea, get a suite and a hotel with a pool that allows kids. No matter what advertising campaign there were a few years back, turns out, Vegas is not a family friendly town. Best of luck.

Be sure to have a stroller that fits both of them to quickly maneuver
them around the airport. Makes for quick & easy ability to get around.
Bring a small travel video player so they can watch movies in the hotel
room (or even the airplane if allowed. I think it is. ).
Make sure to bring all of their favorite toys
For the flight, I would buy a few new toys they have never seen before.
This be exciting for them and help to keep them occupied.
Unfortunately, you will need to buy toys that don't make a lot of noise.
I always buy new toys for a road trip & they are the kind that make noise.
Bring crayons, coloring books, mini books to look at, travel games.
Bring their favorite blankies.
Let them walk around the airport all they want before boarding.
It should be too bad since it's a short flight.
Use a backpack. Great for the airport (hands free) & once you get to
Vegas. Easier to walk around, hand free to grab them, can carry what
you need.
Once you're in Vegas it should be fine.
Hopefully your hotel has an indoor pool.
Google to see if they have an arcade, a nearby toy store.
Bring plenty of snacks, juice, water.
You will be fine. Bring one magazine for you. Easy to pick up & put down.

You can do it just plan ahead: their food, extra clothes in flight in case they have an accident, extra underwear, their fave stuffed animal etc.
