Alternatives to Crocs That Don't Give Blisters

I'm looking for an alternative to crocs for our boys for summertime. Crocs work well for our older boys but for some reason our younger two (ages 5 and 2) are getting blisters from them. What I love about crocs for summertime: they are waterproof, can be hosed off, don't get (as) stinky as other options, breathable, easy/quick to slip on and off but still secure on feet. It would be great to find an alternative that's comparable. Please share if you have a recommendation! Thanks!

My 2 yr old granddaughter was getting rub marks from her crocs (her first pair ever) We put a pair of socks (the low top ones that basically just cover their foot) on and it solved the problem. Water shoes would be a good choice too because they are pretty sturdy and easy to put on. You could get the cheap knock offs which will probably last the summer since they'll both outgrow them anyway.

Where are they getting blisters? If it's around the back (strap) could you fold the straps up so they are more like clogs?

I agree - our kids all wore them as small kids and they were wonderful. I hear you.

We had those velcro strap kind of water/sandals (think like LL Bean but you can get much cheaper) with kind of stretchy material that does fine when wet. They have rugged bottoms and fit securely (adjustable straps) and easy on/off. We had some from LL Bean and some from Lands End. They never gave ours blisters. That's what I would recommend. We were able to pass them down too.

I love crocs for little feet too! As a close second choice though I choose a simple type sport sandal. All the same perks - waterproof, hose off, breathable, quick etc.

Try swim shoes. I love mine and wear them a lot. They're soft on top but do have more of a sole on the bottom than most cheap swim shoes.

Sport sandals are much better for little feet in my opinion. Crocs are plastic so do not breathe and only adjust at the back strap so they actually fit fewer types of feet.
