Hi, I need advise on vitamins. THere are so many out there and i don't know which to get. I have tried a few multi vits but haven't noticed any added energy. I am currently on Every Woman's One Daily by NEWCHAPTER ORGANICS.
Any recommendations on good multi for a 35yrd old. Also any additional vits I need to take? I need something that's good for my skin as well. Just whatever vitamins are good for women. I don't trust folks who sell at stores because i feel like they are just trying to make me buy something.

Also, anyone used cod liver oil as supplement for kids as young as 8months? What can i give them at this age that will help with everything including brain dev't.

Sorry, my questions are all over the place. HELP Please!!

Thanks

Here is the link to the store so you can read more about thier vitamins! They are GREAT!!!! I would be happy to send you a PDF brochure via email if you are interested in reading more about the technology behind their patented delivery system. I can't send a file via Mamasource, so just reply with your email.

Hey J.,

I have to agree with the lady who shared the Melaleuca vitamin line. They have a Patented mineral delivery system. and have been around for 23 years...they are not some fly by night company. They have great business ethics. I feel so blessed to be a part of this company.

The Patented mineral delivery system is called Fructose compounding, where they take a fructose molecule and bind it to 13 must have vitamins and 11 must have minerals. Another company did a test on Melaleuca vitamins and found that they actually have a 90% absorbtion rate...she was just a tad off on the percentage. :D Because our cells love fructose, they readily absorb the vitamins and minerals. And you will definitly FEEL the difference. If not, you can get your money back.

My whole family takes the vitamins...from the grandparents, parents, adults and children. And all have that same fructose compounding so you know your body is absorbing them.

With Melaleuca they just don't offer vitamins and supplements that are above par, they offer all they things that will improve your overall health and wellbeing. From non-toxic cleaning supplies, to all your personal care products, all are naturally derived, safe you you, your family and the environment. They do not market anything, unless it has gone through scientific research, to prove it does what they say it does. That goes for EVERYTHING they manufacture. They even have a Makepup and Skin Care line by Nicole Miller.

If you want to know more about them...go check out their website. www.melaleuca.com

If I can be of assistance to you, let me know.

Blessings,
H.

J.,
I don't know much about vitamins but I do know about an amazing product that I use instead of vitamins. It is called Mona Vie. Since I have been taking it I am more rested, revitalized and I have noticed a shine in my skin. I look and feel great! I take an ounce a day- it is a berry juice - and a bottle lasts me a month.

Here is an excerpt from my website www.mymonavie.com/StayatHomeMom on the qualities that make Mona Vie so great:

Balance, Moderation and Variety--Keys to Effectiveness

Fruits are an abundant source of many thousands of phytonutrients as well as at least 8 Vitamins and minerals -- including Vitamin C which is known to be a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent. According to Dr. Mary Ann Lila, University of Illinois, although the most publicized property of bioflavinoids is their antioxidant capacity, they also serve as anti-inflammatory agents.

Many of the 19 fruits selected for the MonaVie formula, starting with legendary Acai Berry from the Amazon Rainforest, have centuries-old traditions of being used as medicines by the indigenous people of their respective regions. More recent years of scientific research have validated the phytonutrient content and health benefits of these fruits. Most known phytonutrients are strongly linked to pigment, Mother Nature's way of protecting botanicals from intense sunlight and other harsh conditions.

Health experts today agree it is best to consume a color spectrum VARIETY of fruits to gain greatest advantage from their respective phytonutrients.

The fruits of MonaVie give us this spectrum: Acai Berry, pomegranate, white grape, nashi pear, acerola, pear, aronia, purple grape, cranberry, passionfruit, banana, apricot, prune, kiwi, blueberry, bilberry, camu camu, wolfberry and lychee.

The main ingredient ACAI has also been reported to:
Boost energy
Fight free radicals
Improves digestive function
Improves mental clarity/focus
Cleanse and detoxify the body
Strengthens your immune system
Fight cancerous cells
Slow down the aging process
Promote healthier and younger-looking skin
Alleviate diabetes
Helps maintain healthy heart function
Minimizes inflammation

I too am always a skeptic on promises that aren't delivered, but one week later I was a believer!

If you would like to try it for yourself, email me at ____@____.com. I guarantee you will be a believer like me!

Regards,
-g

Good morning! This is what I'm getting my master's degree in. I also carry a line of vitamins that I think is good. However, there are ones that I sell that I think are better elsewhere. I'm not in it just to make money, but to help people. I could put all the information here, but without knowing your history and what your life is like, I really can't offer you a sound suggestion. If you're interested email me back and I'll give you my phone number! :)

I have to agree on the vitamin that was suggested. However I feel I've found one that's even better. With a 97% absorbtion rate and clinical studies behind it Vemma is definitely the best on the market. (even Dr. Oz from Oprah recommends it!)
I'm sure you've found something by now but my mom turned me on to this. My daughter (20 months) and husband take a 2 oz. liquid shot a day as well. All healthy here!
